This specific agreement allows the buyer to benefit from special purchasing conditions for specific ad placements. While a private deal is a component of programmatic advertising, it is distinguished by the fact that the terms of its execution are generally defined in advance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Within programmatic exchanges, a purchase made via a private deal is identifiable by a unique identifier assigned to the deal. Therefore, a publisher may have entered into several private deals for the sale of its advertising space. Programmatic advertising thus offers the flexibility to implement customized agreements, such as private deals, which represent a more cost-effective alternative to traditional sales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A common example of a private deal is the PMP (Private Marketplace). In 2018, according to Zebestof&#8217;s programmatic barometer, private deals represented approximately 30% of programmatic exchanges in France.
