This assignment can cover the design of the display itself or its production. Without this assignment, the client cannot normally reproduce the display with another provider, as this would infringe copyright. POPAI has developed detailed guidelines on this subject, including recommendations on calculating compensation for the assignment of rights, generally based on the initial cost of the service. The rights assigned primarily concern the copyright related to the work or the display (design, visuals, motifs, etc.), but may also include specific rights related to the production process.
