This bar is installed in their browser and allows them to indicate their intention to make a purchase through the bar&#8217;s publisher (cashbacker) with a single click, enabling them to receive a percentage of their purchase in their cashback balance. Simultaneously, the cashbacker, as a member of the merchant&#8217;s program, earns a commission. However, some cashback bars are controversial because they can overwrite the cookies of other affiliates without the user having explicitly chosen to use only the cashbacker&#8217;s program. Furthermore, some merchant publishers (affiliate networks) refuse affiliates from cashback bars, and affiliate platforms may have specific policies on this matter.
