This type of sale occurs spontaneously, outside the distributor’s exclusive territory. A sale is considered passive when a buyer directly contacts a point of sale to inquire about product availability, without any prior contact from the salesperson. The distinction between passive and active selling is particularly important because a franchisor cannot prevent a franchisee from making a passive sale to a customer located within another franchisee’s exclusive territory.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","categories-glossary":[314],"class_list":["post-164994","dictionnaire-dico","type-dictionnaire-dico","status-publish","hentry","categories-glossary-distribution-merchandising-retail"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/digitionary.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/dictionnaire-dico\/164994","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/digitionary.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/dictionnaire-dico"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/digitionary.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/dictionnaire-dico"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/digitionary.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=164994"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"categories-glossary","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/digitionary.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories-glossary?post=164994"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
