Different versions of USB offer varying data transfer speeds. For example, USB 4.0, introduced in 2019, allows transfers of up to 40 Gbps, while USB 3.2, launched in 2017, offers a speed of 20 Gbps. Going back further, we find USB 3.1 from 2013 with 10 Gbps, and USB 3 from 2008 with 5 Gbps. It’s also worth mentioning Thunderbolt, often abbreviated as ThunderboltSS, which offers even higher transfer speeds. In short, USB remains a universal connector widely used for its performance and compatibility.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","categories-glossary":[313],"class_list":["post-164115","dictionnaire-dico","type-dictionnaire-dico","status-publish","hentry","categories-glossary-data-analytics-marketing-intelligence"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/digitionary.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/dictionnaire-dico\/164115","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/digitionary.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/dictionnaire-dico"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/digitionary.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/dictionnaire-dico"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/digitionary.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=164115"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"categories-glossary","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/digitionary.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories-glossary?post=164115"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
