This space is equipped with large screens displaying real-time posts and discussions about a brand, as well as dashboards from social media monitoring and analytics software. The teams in charge of the company’s social media accounts work there, while also monitoring and analyzing external conversations related to the brand. It also serves to raise awareness among different parts of the company about the importance of social media and can be used to monitor trends. Furthermore, the social media room can be mobilized for real-time communication during campaigns, media events, or digital crises.

Depending on its size and sector, a social media room may include various profiles such as a manager, community managers, graphic designers, a copywriter, a monitor, an analyst, etc. For example, the FDJ’s social room, established in 2018, includes a manager appointed by an agency, managers, community managers, creatives, a strategic planner, a monitoring specialist, and an influencer specialist. SNCF’s social room, on the other hand, had 12 members in the fall of 2016.

Concrete examples illustrate the importance and operation of social rooms, such as Orange’s Social Hub in Paris or the experiences of FDJ and Europe 1 in the media sector. These spaces are essential for effective and responsive social media management, as well as for relevant monitoring of online reputation and industry trends.

[313
post-164010","dictionnaire-dico","type-dictionnaire-dico","status-publish","hentry","categories-glossary-data-analytics-marketing-intelligence
["GET
