The line between a simple basic algorithm or the basic automation of a library of responses and true artificial intelligence is thin and sometimes sparks debate. This is particularly noticeable in a context where the term “artificial intelligence” is often used for marketing purposes or to enhance the image of marketing solution providers. In simplified terms, AI is generally considered to be characterized by its ability to learn. This machine learning capability often relies on a human evaluation of the processes implemented by the AI. Some observers may have more demanding criteria for classifying a technology as artificial intelligence, and some experts, particularly in the humanities, go so far as to argue that artificial intelligence is not yet a concrete reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the marketing and e-commerce sector, artificial intelligence is used for various theoretical applications such as advanced chatbot conversation management, website ranking by search engines, optimization of advertising campaigns and online auctions, personalization of recommendations on e-commerce sites, fraud detection, content moderation, image recognition, speech processing, and more. It is also used for automated purchasing, payment processes, automatic anomaly detection in web or mobile analytics data, CRM tasks, logo creation, and many others. Generally, AI comes into play when large volumes of data (big data) or complex parameters are involved.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","categories-glossary":[313],"class_list":["post-163520","dictionnaire-dico","type-dictionnaire-dico","status-publish","hentry","categories-glossary-data-analytics-marketing-intelligence"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/digitionary.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/dictionnaire-dico\/163520","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/digitionary.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/dictionnaire-dico"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/digitionary.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/dictionnaire-dico"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/digitionary.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=163520"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"categories-glossary","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/digitionary.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories-glossary?post=163520"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
