While the term &#8220;velocity&#8221; can be misleading, it actually indicates the average lead maturation time between two stages. Lead velocity can be measured from the moment a prospect is identified as a qualified lead until their conversion into a customer, but it can also be assessed between different stages or levels of lead qualification. The primary objective is to optimize lead management processes to accelerate lead maturation as much as possible and, consequently, reduce the sales cycle length.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If a major annual event is found to accelerate lead maturation, it could be scheduled every six months to further increase velocity.
