A sublicense is an agreement whereby an entity, the beneficiary of authorization to use a product, technology, trademark, or intellectual property, in turn grants certain privileges to a third party, designated as the sublicensee. In other words, the original licensee transfers all or part of the rights granted to them by the assignor (the original owner) to another entity, while respecting the terms of the initial contract.
