Social relationship management, or SRM, encompasses a set of practices aimed at promoting relationship marketing through various communication channels and social platforms. It involves applying the principles of customer relationship management (CRM) to social networks, hence the name social CRM. It’s important to note that a brand’s relationship management on social media isn’t limited to customers but also includes other individuals, thus requiring a broader approach. Community management is one application of SRM.
