Domain slamming is a fraudulent practice employed by dishonest individuals. It involves sending emails to domain name owners, warning them of the imminent expiration of their domain rights. These messages encourage recipients to take a preventative measure which, in reality, amounts to transferring domain management to the sender, thus changing providers without their actual consent.
