Nanotechnology can be defined as a field of study and engineering that focuses on manipulating matter at the nanoscale. In other words, it involves the design, fabrication, and use of extremely small structures and systems, on the order of a nanometer (one billionth of a meter). These nanoscale innovations offer unique possibilities by enabling the control of matter at the atomic and molecular level. The applications of nanotechnology are vast and affect numerous fields such as electronics, medicine, materials science, and energy. By harnessing the unique properties of nanomaterials, nanotechnology paves the way for new scientific and technological advances that could revolutionize many aspects of our daily lives.
