The term PND, an acronym for Undeliverable Mail, refers to mail items returned to the sender because they could not be delivered to the recipient. These returns are generally due to an incorrect or incomplete address, an unknown recipient, or a change of address. Each returned item is accompanied by a label specifying the reason for the return, thus facilitating its management. Managing PNDs is essential to limit unnecessary costs and potential losses in revenue, as the average cost of a PND is estimated at around €1.
