A website’s page title is text enclosed within the “title” tags in the HTML source code. While invisible to the user, this title is displayed at the top of the browser window in a blue bar. It can also be used by search engines to display snippets in search results and to assess the page’s relevance to a given keyword. In addition to serving as a guide for visitors, the page title is crucial for search engine optimization (SEO).
