Direct marketing consists of targeted operations within a specific sector, tracking communication activities with consumers or professionals. These activities are recorded by a panel of individuals contacted. It is difficult to assess the reach or market share of direct marketing monitoring due to its targeted nature, unlike other forms of non-media monitoring.
