The protection of computer data and critical information in the workplace is compared to the societal defense system of the Amazigh (Berber) people. This approach draws inspiration from the Tuareg tradition, where protection begins with the individual, then extends to the community, villages, and finally the confederation before considering external interactions. Indeed, securing our computers and workspaces is a priority before venturing into external environments. This analogy was introduced by J.-Y. Vasen and H. Poyet at a conference on economic intelligence and international competitiveness.
