Project IDX is an online platform developed by Google that offers a comprehensive integrated development environment (IDE) for creating web and cross-platform applications. Based on Visual Studio Code and hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure, this service integrates Codey, an artificial intelligence model powered by PaLM 2, to assist developers with their coding. In addition, Project IDX provides iOS simulators and Android emulators directly accessible from the browser. Finally, for more general tasks, an AI feature called Gemini is discreetly integrated into the user interface. You can access this development environment at idx.dev.
