Portable reception is a method of television reception that involves using an antenna integrated into or connected to the television receiver. This type of reception allows the device to be moved from one location to another, while requiring it to remain stationary during content viewing. According to the DVB-T standard, there are two categories of portable reception: Class A (where the receiver is positioned outside buildings, at a height of at least 1.5 meters above the ground) and Class B (where the receiver is placed inside buildings, in a ground-floor room with a window facing an exterior wall). Class B has stricter requirements than Class A.
