The handling fee is a financial compensation paid to distributors who participate in a promotional campaign by collecting coupons. The amount of this fee depends on the number of coupons collected. It is paid by the person in charge of the promotional operation at the same time as the reimbursement of discounts given at the register. Generally, the handling fee amounts to approximately 5 to 6 euro cents per coupon.
