Embedded content integration involves incorporating content from an external source, such as YouTube or Spotify, directly into a website’s content. Starting with WordPress version 4.4, the embedding feature, known as oEmbed, was integrated into the core of the content management system. This feature allows users to easily insert videos, tweets, or other resources simply by copying the corresponding URL. WordPress then automatically converts these links into embedded content, providing a live preview in the visual editor. Essentially, an embed is an HTML5 tag that allows a file to be encapsulated and displayed directly within the rendering of a web page.
