A commission agent is an intermediary who acts in their own name or under a company name on behalf of a principal, within the framework of a commission agreement. They receive remuneration in the form of a commission and assume responsibility for the execution of the contract. However, they do not have the freedom to set prices, which are determined by the principal or the client.
