A bookmark is a web address saved in a browser to allow quick and easy access to a specific page without having to re-enter the URL. This feature, initially offered by the Netscape browser, is also present in other browsers under different names, such as “favorites” in Microsoft Explorer or “bookmarks” in Mozilla Firefox.
