An isochrone zone refers to a geographical area defined by travel time intervals from a given point, typically a point of sale. It groups together individuals who can reach this point within a defined timeframe, for example, less than 10 minutes or between 10 and 20 minutes. This concept is used in marketing and geographic analysis to study accessibility, optimize the location of points of sale, and guide advertising campaigns. Although the term is sometimes used incorrectly, it serves to represent travel time zones rather than exact curves of equal travel time.
