The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) has launched an initiative to promote the dissemination of all digital resources on the internet using structured data in accordance with the Resource Description Framework (RDF) standard. This approach allows for better description and interconnection of these online resources. This approach is known as the Semantic Web.
