Appointment checkout is a method that allows customers to choose a specific time to check out at a store in advance. This often involves booking online through a website or a computer or smartphone app. Confirmation or delay notifications are then sent to the user’s phone. This appointment checkout concept is still in the experimental phase because it requires more complex management than the traditional queuing system.
