The skyscraper, or “skyscraper” in French, is an online banner ad format characterized by its vertical orientation. It is generally placed to the right of the main content of a web page and is most often 120×600 or 160×600 pixels in size. Its elongated shape gives it particular visibility, hence its evocative name.
