The concept of archetype is an ideal model that can take various symbolic forms, present in cultures around the world. Carl Gustav Jung, the renowned psychologist, placed great importance on this notion, considering it a primary symbol rooted in the collective unconscious. According to him, archetypes influence all aspects of an individual’s life, guiding their behavior. Jung emphasized the need to perceive the specific emotional aspect of each archetype, stressing that they come alive when their meaning for each individual is carefully explored. He compared archetypes to chemically similar corpses, emphasizing that it is in the uniqueness of living individuals that their true essence is revealed.
